Daimler join with Foton Motor to produce a truck

German carmaker Daimler, earlier this week received Chinese government approval for joint-venture truck.
Daimler Trucks has a 50 percent joint venture with a production capacity of 160,000 cars/year.
DaimlerChrysler is a partner Foton Motor, China’s top companies by a truck. Photon sold 105,000 vehicles last year. The photon is a subsidiary of Automotive Industry Corp. of Beijing.
Truck comes from the middle class joint venture to heavy trucks, write a statement of Daimler.

China is currently the largest passenger vehicle market and reach the United States. Last year, sales in China reached 18 million units, up 32 percent.
